Multi-Size Collet Power Chucks are designed to grip a bar stock with six blades that are incorporated in a cage. The high-hardness precision blades have a gripping range of 3 mm. Two types of collets are available: One is E type that is suitable for precision machining with clamping scratches prevented, and the other is RE type that is suitable for rough machining. The chucks are available in three types that can be selected depending on conditions for use.

The disk-spring power pack enables the chuck to powerfully grip workpieces.

This is suitable for continuous operations and secondary machining, allowing full utilization of the spindle hole very accurately.

 Also, economical power units and peripheral devices can be used.

This Power Chuck is designed for the effective use of the Multi-size collet.

Especially the dead length securing function (which stops the workpiece in the axial direction) is convenient for secondary machining.

By adding a guide ring, non-stop operation is possible, with a wide gripping range available.

The lever-operating-type Power Chuck, which employs a combination of standardized body and collets of the Multi-size collet system, can cover a broad gripping range by changing collets.

The E-type collets are ideally suited for polishing round and hexagonal bar-works. They also flexibly respond to secondary machining operations.

EA(1.6-25mm) are available for every 10 type chucks, EC(1.6-38mm) are available for every 15 type chucks and EE(12.7-63.5mm) are available for every 25 type chucks.

All E-type collets have 3.2 mm clamping range (except EA-2) and are excellent in point of strength, open era and small quantity of stock compared with general collets.

For mill scale bar-works

The RE-type collets, which are specially designed for mill scale bar-works, have serrations on blades to provide powerful chucking, while greatly reducing product cost.

 REC are available for every 15 type chucks  and REE are available for every 25 type chucks from [minimum workpiece diameter of φ12.7mm].

These collets have  interchangeability with E-type collets of same size.
